• Upto 20th Century, people just used to observe the sun, the moon, the stars and always dreamt about going into outer space. People wanted to see what is outside of our Earth.
• For the first time, Soviet Union became successful in sending a human being into outer space.
• Today, 9th March is the birthday of Yuri Gagarin, the first man to travel to outer space and orbit our Earth.
• Yuri Gagarin was entitled as The Hero of Soviet Union after his journey to the outer space.
